Fountain of Wealth Singapore
Have you seen Trevi Fountain in Rome? Tourists and local visitors throw coins there to make a wish. However, throwing coins has been barred by the authorities. People throw coins at fountains to make a wish and it’s a common occurrence everywhere in the world. But I am sharing something different here.
This is our very own Fountain of Wealth in Singapore. In 1998, the Guinness Book of Records recognised it as the largest fountain in the world. It is located in Suntec City, one of Singapore’s largest shopping malls.
At night between 8 pm to 9 pm, the fountain is the setting for laser performances, as well as live songs and laser message dedications. If you want to declare your love for someone, now you know where to go. 😃 The fountain is the hub of the shopping mall and you cannot miss it.
Personally, I feel the fountain could have been built more beautifully. But there are certain Feng Shui principles involved in the design and who am I to judge that, right?
